John’s enthusiasm for architecture is contagious and his influence far-reaching. Endless energy and strategy go into his primary motivation—creating the best design solution for his clients. His experience encompasses a multitude of environments, from justice to education to mission critical.

John is an advocate of efficient and well-proportioned design, believing that a good architect should be experienced in all phases of design. His understanding of the complexities of design and construction is coupled with the strong emphasis he places on meeting his clients’ budget and schedule.
Much of John's time is spent working with and sharing his experiences with the younger members of the firm.
John holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Sciences from Harvard and a Master of Architecture from Washington University.
