The 17,761 SF Operations Center in Mooresville, North Carolina combines administrative, dispatch and meeting areas with vehicle maintenance and warehouse facilities for construction and line crew operations. Scope of work for the project included the following:
Warehouse and Site
- 6,784 SF of warehouse space
- 13 acres of developed area
- Storage for construction materials
- Storage yard for poles, transformers and equipment
- 20-truck loading dock
- Fueling and truck washing facilities
Office Area
- 10,997 SF of office space
- Kitchen
- Dispatch area
- Linemen assembly room
- Workstations and multipurpose room
- Supervisors’ offices
- Corporate Vehicle Fleet Service Center
The Corporate Vehicle Fleet Service Center provides full-service repair and maintenance of Duke Energy service vehicles located at their Charlotte General Office Headquarters and Operations Center.
